"Drums and Therapy Working Hand in Hand"
The Rhythmic Arts Project was founded in 1997 by Eddie Tuduri. The project is essentially an education program utilizing drums and percussion to address many basic life skills in the field of developmental disabilities.

Through the use of percussion in a group environment, the program seeks to enhance socialization and individuality, attending skills, eye contact, turn taking, following directions, creativity, vocalization, and fine/gross motor awareness. It also seeks to enhance motor control, laterality, differentiation, temporal organization, and higher level cognitive skills.

But most importantly, this program is designed not only to encourage development through the countless benefits of music, but also to provide a fun and healthy environment that is rewarding for both the participants and the volunteers. We invite you to learn more about this exciting program, now offered at The Waterbury Arc.

The Rhythmic Arts Project is a non-profit 501 ( C ) (3) company. For more information, please visit www.traponline.com
